I attended school in Montague and Bowie as well as Cooke County Junior College and Midwestern State University. I have been an independent landman since 1977. I have been employed by local independents and by large oil & gas companies. I am a full service landman, meaning I do the research as well as the leasing, through production.  There is no other job I can think of that would give me the opportunity to do what I love to do. I enjoy work every day. I learn every day. There are some days when I wonder what I am doing and why I got into this business but those days are few and far between. My grandfather, Robert Ryan, and my mother Carolyn Guilliams McEuen are the ones who taught me how to be a landman.
